Preliminary work

1. Remove wheel. -> 440519 Removing and installing wheel - section on "Removing" Removal and Replacement

1. Release the socket -arrow A- and pull it off -arrow B-.

2. Take the line out of the bracket -arrow C-.
3. Release the connector -arrow A- and pull it off -arrow B-.

4. Remove line from the bracket.
4.1. Press the line out of the bracket -arrow A-.

4.2. Turn the connector approx. 90° -arrow B- and take it out of the bracket -arrow C-.
5. Take the line out of the brackets -arrows-.

6. Open the clips -arrows A- and remove the line -arrows B-.

7. Release the connector -arrow A- and pull it off -arrow B-.

8. Remove wire harness.

1. Release the connector -Arrow A- and pull it off -Arrow B-.

2. Release the connector -Arrow A- and pull it off -Arrow B-.

3. Remove line from the holder.
3.1. Press the line out of the holder -Arrow A-.

3.2. Turn the connector approx. 90° -Arrow B- and take it out of the holder -Arrow C-.
4. Press the line out of the holders -Arrows-.

5. Removing ABS line
5.1. Press the line out of the holders -Arrow A-.

5.2. Release the connector -Arrow B- and pull it off -Arrow C-.
5.3. Remove the wire harness.

Installing wire harness for anti-lock brake system (ABS)

Installing wire harness for front ABS

1. Insert the line -Arrow A- until the locking lug -B- is felt to engage.

2. Place the line in installation position and close the clips until the locking lugs are felt to engage.

3. Press the line into the holders -Arrows- until it engages securely.

4. Insert line into the holder.
4.1. Insert the connector into the holder -Arrow A- and turn it approx. 90° -Arrow B-.

4.2. Press the line into the holder -Arrow C- until it is felt to engage.
5. Press the line into the holder -Arrow A- until it is felt to engage.

6. Insert the connector -Arrow B- until the locking lug -C- is felt to engage.
7. Push on connector -Arrow A- until the locking lug -B- is felt to engage.

Installing wire harness for rear ABS

1. Installing ABS line
1.1. Attach the line -Arrow A- until the locking lug -B- is felt to engage.

1.2. Press the line into the holder -Arrow C- until it engages securely.
2. Press the line into the holders -Arrows- until it engages securely.

3. Insert line into the holder.
3.1. Insert the connector into the holder -Arrow A- and turn it approx. 90° -Arrow B-.

3.2. Press the line into the holder -Arrow C- until it engages securely.
4. Insert the connector -Arrow A- until the locking lug -B- is felt to engage.

5. Insert the connector -Arrow A- until the locking lug -B- is felt to engage.
