Technical values







Preliminary work

1. Remove trim panel for rear lid hinge. Refer to Removing and installing rear lid hinge trim panel.

INFORMATION: If the rear lid hinge fails to work properly, it can be replaced without having to remove the rear lid. In such cases, a second person is required to hold the lid open during the repair process.

2. Remove rear lid. Refer to Removing and installing rear lid.

Removing rear lid hinge

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.







2. Remove rear lid hinge -2-.

Installing rear lid hinge

1. Roughly align rear lid hinge -2- with the old marks.







2. Tighten fastening screws -1-. tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Reworking

Subsequent work

1. Install rear lid. Refer to Removing and installing rear lid.
2. Install trim panel for rear lid hinge. Refer to Removing and installing rear lid hinge trim panel.
