Removing engine coolant level sensor

DANGER

Vehicle raised incorrectly.

- Danger of fatal injury or material damage should the vehicle fall down.

-> Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

Information

On the Boxster models as of MY 2007, the coolant tank is located in the right of the engine compartment.

1. Pull off cable plug -2- on engine coolant level sensor.





Engine coolant level sensor

1.1. Turn engine coolant level sensor 90 degrees anti-clockwise and pull it out.

Installing engine coolant level sensor

1. Guide engine coolant level sensor into position and turn it 90 degrees clockwise.
2. Slide on cable plug -2- for engine coolant level sensor until it locks with an audible click.
