Removing and installing selector support





Preliminary work

1. Remove selector knob.
2. Remove centre console.

Removing selector support

1. Move selector lever to position P.





Disconnecting selector support

2. Disconnect selector support
2.1. Open the bayonet lock -2- on the parking lock cable, pull it off and disengage it at the support.
2.2. Release and pull off electric multiple plug connector -3-.
3. Remove selector support.

Unscrew nuts -2- and remove selector support -1- in an upward direction.

Installing selector support

Information
Before starting to install the selector support, ensure that the transmission and selector support are in position "P".

1. Install selector support.

Fit the selector support -1- and screw on and tighten nuts -2-.





Removing and installing selector support

- Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2. Connect selector support.





Connecting selector support

2.1. Engage parking lock cable on the support and lock the bayonet lock -2-.
2.2. Release and pull off electric multiple plug connector -3-.

Subsequent work

1. Install centre console.
2. Install selector knob.
