Symptoms

Rattling noises from around the rear side trim panel.

Causes and remedial action

Rattling noises can be heard due to tolerances between the rear side trim panel and accessories (loudspeaker, loudspeaker cover grid, windstop collar, rear cover).

In the event of a complaint, strips of raschel tape and felt must be affixed to the rear side trim panel and accessories to remedy the situation on vehicles manufactured before the date of introduction October 2004.
