Preliminary work for SDARS antenna

INFORMATION:
- If the SDARS antenna has to be replaced, it can only be replaced together with the cowl panel cover.
- The SDARS antenna must not be removed from the cowl panel.
- Replace the cowl panel cover.

Removing SDARS antenna

INFORMATION:
- If the SDARS antenna has to be replaced, it can only be replaced together with the cowl panel cover.
- The SDARS antenna must not be removed from the cowl panel.







1. Expose electric line for the SDARS antenna, release it -a- and pull it apart.
2. Remove cowl panel complete with the SDARS antenna from the roof.

Installing SDARS antenna


INFORMATION:
- If the SDARS antenna has to be replaced, it can only be replaced together with the cowl panel cover.
- The SDARS antenna must not be removed from the cowl panel.

1. Install cowl panel complete with the SDARS antenna.







2. Connect electric plug connection for the SDARS antenna until it engages securely.
3. Route electric line correctly.

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for SDARS antenna
Perform subsequent work for replacing cowl panel.
