Removing And Installing Housing For Rear-view Mirror

Preliminary work

1. Remove mirror adjusting motor. Refer to Removing and installing mirror adjusting motor.

Removing housing for rear-view mirror

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove plate -2- from mirror base -3- (-arrow-).







2. Remove mirror housing.







2.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- at mirror housing -2- (-arrow-).
2.2. Pull mirror housing -1- and cover -2- out of mirror base -3- slightly -arrow A-.







2.3. Carefully release cover -2- at locking lugs -arrows B- and unclip from mirror housing -1-.
2.4. Pull mirror housing -1- out of mirror base -3- (-arrow C-).

3. Pull cover -1- out of mirror base -2- (-arrow-).







Installing housing for rear-view mirror

1. Insert wire harness -3- through cover -1- and slide cover into mirror base -2- (-arrow-).







2. Install mirror housing.







2.1. Insert mirror housing -1- into mirror base -3- (-arrow A-).
2.2. Clip in mirror housing -1- with cover -2- (-arrows B-) until it locks with an audible click.
2.3. Completely insert mirror housing -1- and cover -2- into mirror base -3- (-arrow C-).
2.4. Secure mirror housing -2- using the fastening screws -1- (-arrow-).







3. Position plate -2- on mirror base -3- (-arrow-) and secure using the fastening screws -1-.







Subsequent work

1. Install mirror adjusting motor. Refer to Removing and installing mirror adjusting motor.
