Diagnosis Information - DME (DFI)

Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter, bank 1 - signal too lean / rich

NOTE:
- This fault is detected if the oxygen sensor signal ahead of the catalytic converter deviates by a certain value from the control value (rich/lean mixture) within a certain time.
- Diagnosis is initiated by fault detection in the mixture control.

Diagnostic conditions
- Relatively long drive in various operating states
- Diagnoses >Electrical fault of oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter[ or ] Lambda correction behind catalytic converter< must have taken place

Possible fault causes
- Leak in exhaust system between the two oxygen sensors on bank 1
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter, bank 1, faulty
