Removing And Installing Switching Element For Filler Flap

Preliminary work

Remove front right wheel housing liner (part A). Refer to Removing and installing front wheel housing liner.

Removing switching element for filler flap







1. Release -arrow a- and pull off connector.







2. Loosen the two fastening screws -1- and remove the filler flap switching element from the holder.







3. Disengage switching element for filler flap from the emergency operation cable.







Installing switching element for filler flap

1. Engage switching element for filler flap into the emergency operation cable.







2. Insert switching element for filler flap into the slots on the holder. Ensure that the locking bolt of the filler flap switching element is positioned in the opening of the side section.







3. Secure the filler flap switching element with the two fastening screws -1-.
4. Insert the connector until it is felt to engage.







5. Check operation of the filler flap switching element.

Subsequent work

Install front right wheel housing liner (part A). Refer to Removing and installing front wheel housing liner.
