Removing And Installing Front Air Grille

Preliminary work

1. Remove the front apron. Refer to Removing and installing front apron.

INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

2. Remove spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system. Refer to Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system.
3. Remove front direction indicator light at the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing front direction indicator light.

Removing front air grille

Removing air grille at the sides







1. Unscrew fastening screws -2- on air grille -1-.







2. Insert a screwdriver between the front apron -2- and air grille -1- and release the locking lugs.







3. Disengage water hose -3- on the air grille -1- (-Arrow A-) and remove air grille -1- (-Arrow B-).

Removing centre air grille at the bottom

1. Insert a screwdriver between the front apron -2- and air grille -1- and release the locking lugs.







2. Disengage the wire harness -3- from the air grille -1- and remove the air grille -1-.

Installing front air grille

Installing air grille at the sides

1. Position the air grille -1- on the front apron -2- and attach the water hose -3- (-arrow A-).







2. Press the air grille -1- into the front apron -2- (-arrow B-) until the locking lugs engage securely.
3. Secure the air grille -1- with the fastening screws -2-.







Installing centre air grille at the bottom

1. Position the air grille -1- and engage the wire harness -3-.







2. Press the air grille -1- into the front apron -2- until the locking lugs engage securely.

Subsequent work

INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system.

1. Install spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system. Refer to Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight cleaning system.
2. Install front direction indicator light at the left and right. Refer to Removing and installing front direction indicator light.
3. Install the front apron. Refer to Removing and installing front apron.
