Removing And Installing Floor Covering

Preliminary work

1. Remove front seat at right and left. Refer to Removing and installing front seat.
2. Remove rear side trim panel at left and right. Refer to Removing and installing rear side trim panel.
3. Remove inner door sill trim on the right and left. Refer to Removing and installing inner door sill trim.
4. Remove front side-section trim panel (driver's side). Refer to Removing and installing front side-section trim panel.
5. Remove footrest. Refer to Removing and installing footrest.
6. Remove accelerator pedal. Refer to Removing and installing accelerator pedal.
7. Remove gearshift bracket. Refer to Removing and installing gearshift bracket.
8. Remove parking-brake lever. Refer to Removing and installing parking-brake lever.

Removing floor covering







1. Detach floor covering -1- in the area around the bottom of the A-pillar (passenger's side) -Arrow A-.







2. Detach Velcro fasteners around the centre tunnel.







3. Fold together floor covering -1- in the sequence shown, -A, B, C-, and remove from the vehicle.







Installing floor covering

1. Insert floor covering -1- in the vehicle and align in the sequence shown, -A, B, C-.







2. Secure Velcro fasteners around the centre tunnel.







3. Secure floor covering -1- in the area around the bottom of the A-pillar (passenger's side) -Arrow A-.







Subsequent work

1. Install parking-brake lever. Refer to Removing and installing parking-brake lever.
2. Installing gearshift bracket. Refer to Removing and installing gearshift bracket.
3. Install accelerator pedal. Refer to Removing and installing accelerator pedal.
4. Install footrest. Refer to Removing and installing footrest.
5. Install front side trim panel (driver's side). Refer to Removing and installing front side-section trim panel.
6. Install inner door sill trim on the right and left. Refer to Removing and installing inner door sill trim.
7. Install rear side trim panel at left and right. Refer to Removing and installing rear side trim panel.
8. Install front seat at right and left. Refer to Removing and installing front seat.
