Removing And Installing Padding For Front Middle Backrest (Air-Conditioned Comfort Seat)

Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for front middle backrest. Refer to Removing and installing front middle backrest cover (air-conditioned comfort seat).

Removing padding for front middle backrest







1. Disengage cover -1- from the plastic frame -2- all the way around -arrows-.







2. Release and disengage cushion clips -1- using a screwdriver -arrow A-.







3. Remove plastic frame -2- from the cover -3- and remove padding -4- (-arrow B-).

Installing padding for front middle backrest

1. Check cushion clips -1- and engage them in the integrated metal strut -2- for the cover -3- if necessary.







2. Fit cover -3- and padding -4- and align with the contour of the plastic frame -2- (-arrow A-).







3. Press cushion clips -1- through the cut-out in the padding -4- and into the plastic frame -2- (-arrow B-) until they engage securely.
4. Engage cover -1- in the plastic frame -2- all the way around -arrows-.







Subsequent work

1. Install cover for front middle backrest. Refer to Removing and installing front middle backrest cover (air-conditioned comfort seat).
