Removing And Installing Light Bulb For Reversing Light

Removing light bulb for reversing light







INFORMATION:
- If the tail light is opened, the seals for the central connector and cover must be replaced.
- The left tail light is described here.







1. Unscrew and remove the seven fastening screws -1- on the back of the tail light.
2. Remove cover.







3. Pull off the two electric connectors -2- and -3- on the light bulb.
4. Unscrew the two fastening screws -4- for the light bulb.
5. Remove light bulb -5- from the tail light.







6. Pull off the seal around the central connector -6- on the tail light.







7. Use a screwdriver to lever out the rubber seal -7- on the cover of the tail light and pull it out of the cover.

Installing light bulb for reversing light

INFORMATION:
- If the tail light is opened, the seals for the central connector and cover must be replaced.
- The left tail light is described here.







1. Fit a new rubber seal -7- all the way around on the cover of the tail light.







2. Stick on a new seal around the central connector -6- on the tail light.







3. Fit light bulb -5- into the tail light.
4. Screw in the two fastening screws -4- for the light bulb.
5. Connect the two electric connectors -2- and -3- to the light bulb and check that they are seated securely.







6. Fit tail light cover and secure with the seven fastening screws -1-.
