Preliminary work

Preliminary work for relay carrier
Remove subwoofer for BOSE sound system, I No. 680.

Lift carpet lining behind backrest and remove.

Removing relay carrier










1. Unscrew the four fastening screws -4- and the fastening nut -5- and lift the retaining brackets for the DME control module and the relay carrier.







2. Unscrew the two fastening nuts for the relay carrier and disengage the relay carrier from the retaining bracket.

Installing relay carrier







1. Engage relay carrier on retaining bracket and screw down with the two fastening screws -1-. - Tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)







2. Place retaining brackets on the body and screw down with the four fastening screws -4- and the fastening nut -5-. - Tightening torque: 2.2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.) - Tightening torque: 4.5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for relay carrier of Cabriolet
Install carpet lining behind backrest.

Install subwoofer for BOSE sound system, I No. 680.
