Preliminary work

1. Remove air cleaner housing.
2. Remove rear wheels using special tool socket-wrench insert P300.
3. Remove rear apron.
4. Remove bumper.
5. Remove the two charge air coolers.
6. Remove cover plate.

Removing hall sender

1. Release and pull off cable plug.
2. Unscrew inner Torx screw (M6 x 16) -1-.







3. Pull off hall sender -2-.

Installing hall sender

1. Fit new O-ring. Grease O-ring lightly with Kluber Syntheso glep (available from Porsche Parts Service).
2. Fit hall sender -2-.
3. Position and tighten inner Torx screw (M6 x 16) -1-. Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)







4. Connect cable plugs to the hall sender and lock them. The cable plugs must engage audibly. Pull on the plugs to check that they are seated securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install cover plate.
2. Install the two charge air coolers.
3. Install bumper.
4. Install rear apron.
5. Fit rear wheels using special tool socket-wrench insert P300 so as not to damage the rims. Tightening torque: 130 Nm (96 ftlb.)
6. Install air cleaner housing.
