Removing and installing support for final drive





Preliminary work

Danger
Vehicle raised incorrectly.
^ Danger of fatal injury or material damage should the vehicle fall down.

-> Raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.

1. Jack and raise the vehicle at the prescribed jacking points.
2. Install underbody panelling.
3. Remove the cardan shaft.
4. Remove front final drive

1. Unscrew screws -arrows- and remove support.

Installing support for front final drive

1. Fit support with angled side facing upwards.
2. Screw in and tighten screws -arrows-.





Installing support for final drive

-> Tightening torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

-> Tightening torque: 65 Nm (48 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install front final drive.
2. Install cardan shaft.
3. Install underbody panelling.
4. Lower the vehicle.
