Removing right halfshaft flange

Information

Removing drive shaft flange

The halfshaft flange screw is coated with securing liquid. Always loosen and unscrew the screw only by hand. Loosening the screw using a commercially available electric screwdriver can cause the shaft bevel gear and threaded disc to move inwards out of the splines, rendering the screw ineffective. The differential lock would then have to be disassembled. Avoid this at all costs!

1. Loosen screw -1- and remove it.
