Remove trim panel for rear lid.
Remove wiper arm for rear window wiper system.

1. After removing the wiper arm, unscrew the grommet -3- from the wiper arm drive to the right.
2. Unscrew the fastening screw -1- and the fastening nuts -2-.
3. Take out wiper motor, release and unplug the electrical plug.
4. Take out the wiper motor.

Installing the wiper motor for rear window wiper system
INFORMATION:
- If a previously installed wiper motor is installed ''again", the sealing ring/foam part -4- must be replaced due to water leakage.
- The drive for the wiper arm must be uniformly spaced from the rear window.
1. Position the wiper motor in the vehicle, while making sure that the drive for the wiper arm must be uniformly spaced from the rear window.
2. Plug in the electric connector on the wiper motor until it clicks into place.
3. Secure the wiper motor with the fastening screw -1- and fastening nuts -2-. - Tightening torque: 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) - Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
INFORMATION:

4. Turn the grommet -3- on the drive for the wiper arm.
5. Actuate the wiper motor at least once and allow to run until it stops.

Install wiper arm for rear window wiper system.
Install trim panel for rear lid.
