Diagnosis Information - DME (DFI)

Oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter, bank 1 - signal too
rich/lean

NOTE:
- This fault is detected if the oxygen sensor signal ahead of the catalytic converter deviates by a certain value from the control value (rich/lean mixture) within a certain time.
- Diagnosis is initiated by fault detection in the mixture control.

Diagnostic conditions
- Engine running > 35 seconds
- Mass air flow 10 ... 500 kg/h
- All 4 oxygen sensors ready for operation
- No overrun fuel shutoff

Possible fault causes
- Oxygen sensor faulty
