Removing And Installing Padding For Front Backrest (Air-Conditioned Comfort Seat)

Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for front backrest. Refer to Removing and installing front backrest cover (air-conditioned comfort seat).

Removing padding for front backrest







1. Loosen padding -1- from the backrest frame -2- in the bonding area -3- using a Stanley knife -arrows-.







2. Remove remaining adhesive -1- and clean the contact surface of the backrest frame -2- with cleaning solution.







Installing padding for front backrest

1. Apply adhesive -1- to the marked area of the padding -2-.







INFORMATION: Sealing surface of backrest frame must be clean and free of grease.

2. Place padding -1- on the backrest frame -2- and straighten it -arrows-.







Subsequent work

1. Install cover for front backrest. Refer to Removing and installing front backrest cover (air-conditioned comfort seat).
