Preliminary work for multi-functional switch
1. Remove engine guard.

Overview of multi-functional switch

1. Move selector lever to position N.
2. Remove heat shield on the transmission. To do this, unscrew three fastening screws -arrow-.

3. Pull off cable on multi-functional switch.
4. Remove cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch.

5. Loosen fastening screws -arrow-.

6. Position special tool adjusting tool T10173 on shaft and fix with screw -arrow-.

7. Screw in fastening screws -arrow- and remove special tool. -> Tightening torque: 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)

8. Install cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch. -> Tightening torque: 7 Nm (5 ftlb.) -> Tightening torque: 15 Nm (11 ftlb.)

9. Connect compact connector to multi-functional switch.
10. Install heat shield on transmission. To do this, screw in three fastening screws -arrow-. -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

Reworking multi-function switch
1. Fit engine guard.
