Removing and installing line for ATF cooling





Preliminary work

Preliminary work for line for ATF cooling
1. Remove front cardan shaft.
2. Remove engine carrier.

Installing line for ATF cooling





Overview of ATF line

1. Install ATF line.
2. Screw in ATF line screw connection to engine oil pan -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) and to transmission bell housing -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.).
3. Screw in fastening screw -arrow- which fastens ATF line to ATF thermostat. -> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

4. Screw in fastening screw for securing ATF line to transmission -arrow-. -> Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)

5. Unscrew ATF inspection plug -A- and fill in ATF until a constant discharge is visible at the lifting tube.

6. Screw in ATF control screw with a new sealing ring. -> Tightening torque: 70 Nm (52 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

Subsequent work for line for ATF cooling
1. Install engine carrier.
2. Install front cardan shaft.
3. Check and if necessary, top off the ATF.
4. Fit engine guard.
