Removing cover for 2/3-split folding rear bench





1. Remove padding for rear bench: => 744919 Removing and installing padding for 2/3-split folding rear bench - section on "Removing"

2. Disconnect plug connection (only for vehicles with seat heater): Release plug connection -1- -Arrow A- and disconnect -Arrows B-.





3. Remove covering: Cut open the cushion clips -2- in the order shown -a to d- and at the positions indicated -circle marks- using side cutters and remove the cover -3- from the padding -Arrow C-. The remaining pieces of the cushion clips -2- must be removed.










Installing cover for 2/3-split folding rear bench





1. Install cover: Place cover -3- on the padding -Arrow A- and align with contour of padding.





2. Fasten cover -3- to the padding using cushion clip pliers -4- and new cushion clips -2- in the order shown -a to d-. => 745019 Removing and installing padding for 2/3-split rear bench - section on "Tools and materials"

3. Connect plug connection (only for vehicles with heated seats): Push together the plug connection -1- -Arrows B- until the locking tab audibly engages -Arrow C-.





4. Install padding for rear seat: => 744919 Removing and installing padding for 2/3-split rear bench - section on "Installing"
