Removing And Installing Water Tube For Auxiliary Heating - Water Tube From Engine To Directional-Control Valve

Preliminary Work
1. Remove holder for heater.
Removing water tube for auxiliary heating - water tube from engine to directional-control valve
1. Loosen water tube on directional-control valve at the right.
1.1. Undo spring band clamp using assembly pliers for spring band clamps, Cayenne hose connections NR.72-1 ( -arrows A- ) and push down off the connection -arrow B-.
1.2. Pull water tube off the directional-control valve -arrow C-.
2. Loosen water tube at the circulating pump.
2.1. Undo spring band clamp using assembly pliers for spring band clamps, Cayenne hose connections NR.72-1 ( -arrows A- ) and push down off the connection -arrow B-.
Installing water tube for auxiliary heating - water tube from engine to directional-control valve
1. Secure water tube at the circulating pump.
INFORMATION: Before connecting the water hoses, apply suitable rubber lubricant to the flanges.
1.1. Place water tube in installation position and slide it onto the circulating pump -arrow A-.
1.2. Slide spring band clamp onto the connection using the assembly pliers for spring band clamps, Cayenne hose connections NR.72-1 ( -arrow B- ) and align with the markings.
1.3. Slacken spring band clamp -arrows C- and secure the hoses.
2. Secure water tube on directional-control valve at the right.
INFORMATION: Before connecting the water hoses, apply suitable rubber lubricant to the flanges.
2.1. Slide water tube onto the directional-control valve at the right -arrow A-.
2.2. Slide spring band clamp onto the connection using the assembly pliers for spring band clamps, Cayenne hose connections NR.72-1 ( -arrow B- ) and align with the markings.
2.3. Slacken spring band clamp -arrows C- and secure the hoses.
Subsequent Work
1. Install holder for heater.
