Removing And Installing A-Pillar Trim

Removing A-pillar trim







INFORMATION: In order to reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the process must take place at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Unclip C-pillar trim panel -1- in area of A-pillar trim panel -2- using a plastic wedge -3-.







2. Pull A-pillar trim panel -1- inwards along the roof frame and windscreen frame.







3. Remove A-pillar trim panel -1- upwards.







4. Check clamps -1, 2-, and replace if necessary.







Installing A-pillar trim







1. Insert A-pillar trim panel -1- at the side of the windscreen frame (transition point to dashboard).







2. Press in A-pillar trim panel -1- along the roof frame until the clamps -2- engage.







3. Clip C-pillar trim panel into place -1- in area of A-pillar trim panel -2-.







4. Lift rubber seal for door -1- using a plastic wedge -2- along the A-pillar trim panel -3-.
