Removing And Installing Side Trim Panel

Preliminary work

Remove oddments tray. Refer to Removing and installing oddments tray.

Removing side trim panel

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-, lift side trim panel -2- from lower side member and pull out.







2. Check fastening nuts -1- and replace if necessary.







Installing side trim panel

1. Insert side trim panel -1- with locking tab -2- and rubber sleeve -3- into the inner side member and then screw into place with the fastening screws -4-. Anziehdrehmoment: 1.5 Nm (1.0 ftlb.)+0.1 Nm (+0.1 ftlb.)







2. Lift up the rubber seal for the door -1- using a plastic wedge -2- along the side trim panel -3-.







Subsequent work

Install oddments tray. Refer to Removing and installing oddments tray.
