Removing And Installing Rear Luggage Compartment Trim (Carpet Lining)

Preliminary work

1. Remove rear light cover, left and right. Refer to Removing and installing rear light cover.
2. Remove rear luggage net. Refer to Removing and installing rear luggage net.

Removing rear luggage-compartment trim panel (carpet lining)

Remove luggage-compartment carpet lining at the sides.










1. Lift luggage compartment carpet lining at the sides -1- from the groove in the direction of the arrow.

Removing carpet lining for cross member rear wall










1. Lift carpet lining for cross member rear wall -1- from the groove and remove from under the rear cover -2-.

Removing carpet lining for rear spoiler










1. Lift carpet lining for rear spoiler -1- from the groove and remove from under the cover for lock carrier -2-.

Removing carpet lining for rear luggage-compartment pan










1. Fold up carpet lining for rear luggage-compartment pan -1- at the sides -Arrow A- and remove upwards -Arrow B-.

Installing rear luggage-compartment trim panel (carpet lining)

Installing carpet lining for rear luggage-compartment pan










1. Insert carpet lining for rear luggage-compartment pan -1- in the luggage compartment -Arrow A- and align -Arrow B-.
2. Pull rear tie-down rings -2- upwards through the cover -3-.
3. Align front tie-down rings -4- upwards.

Installing carpet lining for rear spoiler










1. Insert carpet lining for rear spoiler -1- under the cover for lock carrier -2- and press into the groove.

Installing carpet lining for cross member rear wall










1. Insert carpet lining for cross member rear wall -1- under the cover for rear -2- and press into the groove.
2. Open service tray -3-.
3. Align carpet lining for cross member rear wall -1- in area of service tray -3-.

Installing luggage-compartment carpet lining at the sides










1. Position luggage compartment carpet lining at the sides -1- in direction of arrow and press into the groove.

Subsequent work
1. Install luggage net. Refer to Removing and installing luggage net.
2. Install rear light cover, left and right. Refer to Removing and installing rear light cover.
