Vacuum Pump

The 911 Carrera engines use a mechanical vacuum pump instead of a conventional sucking jet pump to provide the vacuum for the brake booster and various vacuum valves. This pump is driven by the corresponding exhaust camshaft on the right cylinder head (cylinder bank 4 to 6).
