The striking design of the Bi-Xenon headlights, front lights and the redesigned tail lights add significantly to the sporty and superior overall look of the new 911 models.

The front light was already redesigned for the 1st generation 997. The position light, fog light and direction indicator light were housed as a separate front light module and the main headlights were more compact and oval: a new, unmistakable and typically Porsche design that stands out clearly from the Boxster series.







This design has been enhanced yet again and the new 997 generation features even more sophisticated aesthetics and the latest Bi-Xenon and LED lighting technology - for an even more dynamic and clearly different look both day and night.

The following lighting technology innovations set the new vehicles apart:
- Bi-Xenon headlights with a cleaning system, now as standard also for 3.6-liter models
- Dynamic cornering light (optional)
- New daytime driving lights and position light in LED technology, no fog lights
- Redesigned tail lights in LED technology
