Sport Chrono Package Plus (optional)

The Sport Chrono Package Plus makes the new 997 model series even more sporty and dynamic. The parameters required for this are changed in the vehicle using a gearshift knob in the center console: the system actively intervenes in:
- accelerator pedal characteristics
- rpm limiter
- dashpot (throttle damper)
- Tiptronic S

The new 911 models are available on request with the optimized and enhanced Sport Chrono Package Plus - with the following extras:
- SPORT button for activating Sport mode for
- the engine
- PDK (new option)
- PTM (new, standard for all all-wheel-drive models)
- PASM (standard for all all-wheel-drive models)
- PSM

- SPORT PLUS button for activating Launch Control (new), a race track-oriented gearshift strategy (new, only with PDK)
- Performance display in PCM
- Individual memory (settings for lights, wipers, air conditioning and door locks)







The new, additional features of the Sport Chrono Package Plus, particularly in combination with the Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission (PDK) and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) for all-wheel drive models, offer customers significantly more potential for increased agility and greater driving pleasure.

A new feature in conjunction with the SPORT button is the activation of a sporty gearshift strategy for the optional Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission (PDK) and the new all-wheel-drive system Porsche Traction Management (PTM).

The additional SPORT PLUS button for the Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission (PDK) is completely new. This allows uncompromisingly sporty gearshifts for maximum performance on race tracks. In addition, the Launch Control assistance system can be activated for best possible drive-off acceleration.
