NOTE: The fault is detected if the sensor values of both potentiometers deviate from each other implausibly.

Diagnostic conditions
- Adaptation performed
- Engine idling and short rev-up
- Driving operation with changing accelerator pedal module position

Possible fault causes
- Loose contact or contact resistances on connectors or lines
- Throttle valve adjusting unit faulty
