The climate control panel controls the cooling output. The electronic regulating valve is controlled via a modified PWM signal for this purpose. This control function is based on the evaporator temperature sensor value.







The evaporator temperature sensor is located on the rear of the heater unit (arrow) between the housing and the bulkhead. It can be accessed from the passenger's side (from underneath the heater unit) for removal and assembly.
