A new 19-inch wheel has been developed for the new 911 Turbo. Similar to the previous model, the new 19-inch Turbo II wheel has the same wheel dimensions, a unique design and the characteristic features of forged design and two-tone look. In addition to high dimensional stability, the forged design enables optimum weight and rigidity. Through the use of forging technology and modification of the geometric dimensioning, the weight of the wheels on both the front and rear axles has been reduced. The weight-saving of the unsprung masses is approx. 6.6 lbs (3 kg) per vehicle compared with the previous model.







A 19-inch RS Spyder wheel with central locking is available as optional equipment for the new 911 Turbo. Similar to standard 19-inch Turbo II wheel, this wheel is one-piece and forged. The surface is painted in silver and the center-bolt is titanium-colored and anodized. To assist with wheel mounting, a special socket-wrench insert for the central lock is supplied with each vehicle equipped with 19-inch RS Spyder wheels.

Tire Repair System

Similar with the previous model, the new 911 Turbo also has a space-saving tire repair system as standard. This comprises a tire sealing compound with electric compressor.
