Axles
In order to improve the driving stability of the new 911 Turbo, the wishbone bearings on the front and rear axles were redesigned to achieve a more rigid connection to the body. In order to reduce weight and promote balanced weight distribution between the front and rear axles, the rear axle cross member of the new 911 Turbo is no longer made of steel as on the previous model, but is now made of lightweight aluminum.
The springs, shock absorbers and anti-roll bars have been adapted to the new setup.
