Remove rear lid. -> 559019 Remove and install rear lid - section on "Removing" 559019 Removing and Installing Rear Lid

Remove rear gas spring. -> 559319 Remove and install rear gas spring - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing rear lid hinge

Information

- If the rear lid hinge fails to work properly, it can be replaced without having to remove the rear lid. In such cases, a second person is required to hold the lid open during the repair process.

1. Unscrew -1- fastening screws.





Remove rear lid hinge

2. Remove -2- lid hinge.

Installing rear lid hinge

1. Roughly align -2- lid hinge using the old marks.





Install rear lid hinge

2. Screw in fastening screws -1- and tighten => : 7.2 ftlb..

Subsequent work

Install rear gas spring. -> 559319 Remove and install rear gas spring - section on "Installing" Service and Repair

Install rear lid. -> 559019 Remove and install rear lid - section on "Installing" 559019 Removing and Installing Rear Lid
