Preliminary work
1. Remove the front apron. -> 631519 Removing and installing front apron - "Removing" section .
Removal
Removing air guide - side radiator
Information
Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E.) for external Torx, (T.) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
1. Remove air guide in driving direction, left.
1.1. Unscrew three sheet metal screws (T27) -1-.
1.2. Pull air guide from the plastic clips -2-.

2. Remove the air guide on the right driving side in the same way as on the left.
2.1. Pull temperature sensor -arrow- from rear out of the air guide and let it hang from connection cable.

3. Remove rear air guide in driving direction right or left.
3.1. Remove radiator

4. Disengage the rear air guide from the cooling fan.
4.1. Release cable plug -1-.
4.2. Press the -2- plastic lock together.
4.3. Lift the air guide out of the tabs -3-.
Air guide behind side radiator
Installation
Install air guide - Middle radiator
Information
- Only Boxster S and Cayman S vehicles with Porsche double clutch transmission (PDK) are equipped with a middle radiator.
1. Installing air guide
1.1. Position air guide on radiator in its installation position.
1.2. Fit right and left rubber tabs -1- on radiator.
1.3. Fit top three rubber tabs.
1.4. Check correct seating.

Installing air guide - side radiator
1. Install rear air guide on cooling fan.
1.1. Fit cable connector -1-.
1.2. Push air guide into the tabs -3- and press air guide into the lock -2-.
1.3. Fit cable plug -1-.

2. Install side radiator.

3. Installing front air guide
3.1. Push air guide laterally into the plastic clip -2-.
3.2. Screw in three sheet metal screws (T27).

4. Plug temperature sensor -arrow- from rear into the air guide.
