Preliminary work

1. Remove front wheel housing liner (part A). -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
2. Remove rear wheel housing liner (part A). -> 536919 Removing and installing rear wheel housing liner - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

1. Release -arrow A- and pull off -arrow B- connector.

2. Remove transmitter (trigger) for tyre pressure monitoring system (TPM).
2.1. Release the holder -1- using a screwdriver -arrow A-.
2.2. Remove transmitter (trigger) for TPM from the holder -arrow B-.

Installing transmitter (trigger) for TPM

Information

Before installing the transmitter (trigger), visually check the transmitter (trigger) and plug connection with regard to the following points:

- Damage to the housing.

- Damage to the contacts on the transmitter (trigger).

- Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness.

- Dirty contacts.

If the transmitter (trigger) is damaged, replace it.

If the wire harness, connector or contacts are damaged, repair them in accordance with the relevant safety instructions using the Repair kit for Cayenne wire harnesses NR.155-2.

If the contacts are dirty, clean them.

1. Install transmitter (trigger) for TPM.

Information

Ensure that lines are routed correctly!

1.1. Fit transmitter (trigger) for TPM into the holder -arrow A-.
1.2. Press transmitter (trigger) for TPM into the holder -arrow B- until the holder engages securely.

2. Plug in connector -arrow- until it engages securely.

1. Install front wheel housing liner (part A). -> 505619 Removing and installing front wheel housing liner - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
2. Install rear wheel housing liner (part A). -> 536919 Removing and installing rear wheel housing liner - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
