Crankshaft position in relation to intake camshaft

NOTE: Fault >>P0016 - below limit value/above limit value<< is set if the specified adjustment range (V6 = +/-13.5 °) is not observed.

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage between 10 V and 16 V
- Time after engine starts > 10 seconds

Possible fault causes
- Timing set incorrectly
- Chain extended
- Intake camshaft sensor loose
- Rotor of intake camshaft sensor in incorrect position
- Intake camshaft sensor not installed correctly
