Diagnosis information - DME V6 DFI

Oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter, bank 1, dynamic response

NOTE: Do not use contact spray on the oxygen sensor's plug connections as this will result in irreparable damage to the lines (blockage of reference air duct).

NOTE: Do not interchange the oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter with the sensor behind the catalytic converter as this will result in implausible fault entries.

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage between 10.7 V and 16.0 V
- Engine at operating temperature
- Lambda control active (Lambda value between 0.9 and 1.1)
- Engine load between 20% and 67%
- 72 seconds at fast idle speed (keep engine speed constant between 1,360 rpm and 4,000 rpm)

Possible fault causes
- Oxygen sensor is dynamically inert
