Fan stiff

WARNING:
Danger of injury:
The fans can start at any time if the air-conditioning system is switched on and / or if the engine is at operating temperature.

Diagnostic conditions
- Time after engine starts greater than 10 seconds
- Air-conditioning system on or
- Engine temperature > 93 °C (199 °F)

Possible fault causes
- Electromagnetic disturbances
- Fan 2 (small / left) sluggish
- Fan 2 (large / right) sluggish
- Both fans sluggish
