Idle speed control

Diagnostic conditions
- Engine running
- Vehicle not moving
- Engine not loaded
- Engine temperature higher than 60 °C (140 °F)
- Intake air temperature sensor higher than -9.8 °C (14 °F)
- No tank ventilation or tank ventilation diagnosis
- No secondary air diagnosis
- Altitude correction factor > 0.75 (altitude below 2450 m)
- No fault for speed signal, throttle potentiometer, engine temperature, intake air temperature, tank vent or tank ventilation system

Possible fault causes
- Throttle valve adjusting unit faulty
