Fuel pump relay driver 1 (left)

NOTE: Any stored faults of the fuel supply (oxygen sensing range [FRAO] and [FRAU]) could be a result of insufficient fuel supply at full load in one-pump operation.

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage > 10 V
- Fuel tank level 15... 60 liters
- Engine running > 10 seconds

Possible fault causes
- Short circuit to B+
- Short circuit to ground
- Open circuit in line
- Fuse FE 14 faulty (fuse carrier in plenum panel E-box)
- Fuel pump relay faulty

Affected contacts on the fuel pump relay connector
- Contact 85
