Diagnosis information - DME V6 DFI

Intake pipe switch-over driver

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage > 10 V
- Time after engine starts > 10 seconds
- Activation of intake pipe switch-over must have occurred (test drive with brief portion of engine speed > 4,500 rpm)

Possible fault causes
- Short circuit to B+
- Short circuit to ground
- Open circuit in line
- Fuse F9 faulty (fuse carrier in plenum panel E-box)
- Solenoid valve, intake pipe switch-over faulty

- Contact 6

Affected contacts on the secondary-air valve connector
Connector [A]:
- Contact 2
