Diagnosis information - DME V6 DFI

MAF: electric fault

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage > 7.5 V
- Engine speed < 2,000 rpm
- Throttle valve position < 10 %
- approx. Test drive of approx. 20 minutes with changing load conditions

Possible fault causes
- Open circuit in voltage supply
- Short circuit to ground in power supply
- Short circuit to B+ in power supply
- Open circuit in signal line
- Short circuit to ground in signal line
- Short circuit to B+ in signal line
- Hot film mass air flow meter faulty

Affected contacts on the DME control unit connector
Connector [B]:
- Contact 85
- Contact 58
- Contact 64

Affected contacts on the hot film mass air flow meter connector
- Contact 3 ground
- Contact 4 power supply 5 V
- Contact 5 signal
