Diagnosis information - DME V6 DFI

Throttle valve adjusting unit not adapted

NOTE: This fault is entered only if adaptation was not performed correctly after replacement of the throttle adjusting unit or the DFI control unit.

NOTE: If this fault is present, the value of the accelerator module is limited to 30% and the dynamic response is diminished.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on (approx. 30 seconds)
- Vehicle is stationary
- Engine not running
- Engine temperature between 5 and 100 °C C
- Intake air temperature higher than 5 °C (41 °F) C
- Battery positive voltage > 10 V
- Pedal value less than 0.8 %

Possible fault causes
- Teaching not performed
- New throttle adjusting unit also faulty
