Diagnosis information - DME V6 DFI

Lambda control adaptation FRAU, bank 2 - lower load range

NOTE: Diagnosis should indicate a positive deviation (enrichment) of more than 30% of the lambda control adaptation in the lower load range (FRAU > 0.7).

Diagnostic conditions
- Battery positive voltage between 10 V and 16 V
- Lambda control active
- Engine temperature > 60 °C (140 °F)
- Engine load between 6 % and 30 %
- Mass airflow between 6 kg/h and 32 kg/h
- Engine speed between 320 rpm and 880 rpm

Possible fault causes
- Incorrect main filling signal from hot-film mass air flow sensor (setpoint voltage with stopped engine and ignition on = 0.9 ... 1.1 V)
- Fuel pressure too high
- Mechanical fault of fuel injector(s) (leak)
- Tank vent stuck in open position
