Diagnosis information - DME V6 DFI

Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter, bank 1 - signal too lean / too rich

NOTE:
This fault is detected if the oxygen sensor signal ahead of the catalytic converter deviates by a certain value from the control value (rich/lean mixture) within a certain time.
Diagnosis is initiated by fault detection in the mixture control.

Diagnostic conditions
- Relatively long drive in various operating states
- Air-mass flow between 30 kg/h and 200 kg/h

Possible fault causes
- Leak in exhaust system between the two oxygen sensors on bank 1
- Oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter, bank 1 faulty (old)
- Tank vent stuck in open position
- Secondary air before intake
- Fault in intake camshaft
- Mechanical fault in valve drive
- Valve lift error
- Oxygen sensor behind catalytic converter faulty
