Preliminary work

1. Drain the cooling system. -> 193817 Draining and filling coolant on DFI engines (includes bleeding) - section on "Draining" Service and Repair

Removing coolant temperature sensor

1. Pull off the cable plug on the temperature sensor. -10-
2. Pull off retaining clip. -12-
3. Pull out temperature sensor. -10-
4. Sealing ring must always be replaced. -11-

Installing coolant temperature sensor

1. Replace sealing ring.
2. Assemble in reverse order.

Subsequent work
