Removing and Installing Cover For Instrument Panel (Defroster Cover)

Preliminary work

Remove cover for loudspeaker at the left and right.

Removing dashboard cover (defroster cover)







1. Insert a plastic wedge under the defroster trim.







2. Press the plastic wedge upward -arrow A- and unclip the cover (defroster trim) from the retaining clips.







3. Pull the cover (defroster trim) with the holder -1- underneath the cover for the centre loudspeaker out towards the outside of the vehicle -arrow B- .
4. Pull the cover (defroster trim) up and off.

Installing dashboard cover (defroster cover)







1. Guide the cover (defroster trim) and holder -1- in underneath the cover for the centre loudspeaker and position it.
2. Clip in the dashboard cover (defroster trim) until it engages securely.

Subsequent work
Install cover for loudspeaker at the left and right.
