Preliminary work

1. Remove corner window pane. -> 642919 Removing and installing front corner window pane - section on "Removing" Removal and Replacement

Installation position of moulding

1. Drill out fastening rivets -1- and remove the remaining pieces of the rivets.

2. Pull window guide out of the B-pillar cover.

3. Lift the moulding up and off.

Replacing moulding:

- Install new window guide. -> 644555 Replacing window guide 644555 Replacing window guide

1. Check condition of window guide and replace it if necessary. -> 644555 Replacing window guide 644555 Replacing window guide
2. Pull window guide into the B-pillar.

3. Position moulding on the door sub-frame.

4. Check that the rubber seal is fitted correctly into the B-pillar cover.
5. Set the moulding with blind rivets -1- and rivet using a hand riveting tool Nr.124-1 Pos.1.
